Initially i thought the overlays were a bit too powerful, but on the info page it says they have been designed this way because "It is always easier to reduce intensity than to increase it' so it gives more versatility... pretty cool, usually this type of product are either great or not, this gives the option of adjustability where you'd like. Will these work with any phone footage?

Yes. Grade404 is built to help you save time in the editing process of your phone footage while increasing views and retention through more visually appealing footage. Since phone footage is already recorded in Rec.709, the Grade404 Products work seamlessly regardless of your editing software.

Do I need to know color grading to use these?

No. Our products are designed to be drop-in ready. Apply the LUT or overlay, adjust intensity if needed, and you’ll have a polished, cinematic look without technical grading knowledge.

You can also tweak adjustments to tailor more to your needs.

What software are these compatible with?

Grade404 products are designed to integrate seamlessly with any editing software that allows third-party .cube LUTs and blend mode controls. They can be used across a wide range of platforms, including Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Avid, After Effects, CapCut (desktop), Filmora, Vegas Pro, LumaFusion, VN App, and many others.

CapCut Mobile does not natively support direct import of standard .cube LUT files like desktop software. We suggest workarounds like pre-grading in another app (VN Editor,LumaFusion) or using desktop CapCut to create a synced project.

Will these make my footage look too stylized or unrealistic?
